As a Cisco Learning Partner, Housley is principally engaged in training, consulting and mentoring to Cisco, its channel partners, and end-user clients in ANZ and the APAC region.

I’ve always found it helpful to step out of day-to-day business and be educated on direct and related business issues and learn from other business owners on their challenges, methods of operation and execution of business objectives. The Lindfield Business Roundtable is a good opportunity for a couple of hours each month to take time out and see how other folks learn and succeed in business.

John Holland is an entrepreneurial business strategist with a marketing and governance background. He has spent the last 25 years helping SMEs grow and NFP organisations fulfil their missions.

He is the founding Director of Masterstroke, a strategy and planning consultancy that helps organisations by building pragmatic roadmaps to guide their growth.

He is also a Director of Positive Living Skills, an early childhood and primary school wellbeing program provider, and a Founding Director of animal welfare charity Ninth Life Foundation.

“I’ve been involved with peer groups for over half of my business life, primarily as a member but also as a facilitator, and the impact has been fantastic, both for me personally and for my businesses.”

Denise Archie is an entrepreneurial business strategist and consultant with a flair for the different. From the classroom to the Board room and business owner, Denise has spent the last 30 year facilitating leadership, coaching and mentoring programs where the theory meets the practical. Her motto is Bringing Learning to Life. Denis has had the pleasure and fun to be Lindfield Business Roundtable for the past few years. What do I love about this group: We all have a willingness to share, learn,, laugh and be honest with our business ‘stuff ups’. We all share the same purpose: making our time spent every month valuable, fun and practical adn impactful personally and professionally.

Peter Vickers CEO of Peter Vickers Business Group. Peter studied at the University of Sydney and enjoyed university life so much that he completed two degrees. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) of the Tax Institute. Peter is an authorised representative under the Corporations Act and is licensed to give investment advice. He is a registered tax agent, a registered company auditor, a registered SMSF auditor, an external examiner for the Law Society of NSW and a Justice of the Peace.

Peter has won various battles over the years against the Australian Taxation Office. He even convinced the Australian Securities and Investments Commission that Singapore does not have a separate capital city.

Peter has three daughters and eight grandchildren and is a keen skier and accomplished sculptor. He was on the Board of Management of his daughters’ school, Masada College for 10 years of which he served three years as honorary treasurer. When I encounter serious business issues, these cannot be discussed with my employees and clients.

I thus need to turn to my fellow business owners at the Business Roundtable for their words of wisdom.

I know that they will respond to my problem with their expertise and experience and will keep these issues in confidence.

Why am I involved with Lindfield Business Roundtable? I find the time spent with intelligent, interesting people of different ages, industries and businesses great to hear and observe other people’s perspectives about how they run their business and learning about the challenges and wins. The information and practical tools shared are such that I can then adapt to increase my business success.
